Best Type of Exercising for The Human Body

A commonly asked question

What is the best form of exercise for the human body?

The reason we don’t have a clear answer is simple:
we’re asking the wrong question.

It’s the same story as asking, “What is the best human diet?”

A better question might be:

How do you want to live your life?

Now we’re getting closer to the truth.

Because once we ask it this way, the answer naturally changes from person to person—
based on values, goals, and desires.

For example:

  • Being physically and mentally independent, so I can take care of my own needs and not become a burden to anyone

  • Being able to travel the world freely, without worrying that my health (or lack of it) will hold me back

  • Living and loving my family, and being able to do things with them and for them

  • Hosting gatherings, being social, and enjoying life as an active, fun guest

And of course, the list goes on and on—shaped by different personalities and life goals.

But there is one common thread

Without this, none of the above is possible:

"Physical health"

  • Being able to move as much as you want

  • Being able to look after your own needs for as long as possible

So what does physically healthy actually mean?

Now we’re narrowing it down.

It means:

  • Your muscles are strong enough to move you

  • Your bones are resilient enough to carry load

  • Your joints are capable of supporting daily life

  • Your heart and organs can do their job without unnecessary strain

In other words:
A healthy musculoskeletal system and a healthy cardiovascular system.

The rule of physiology is simple:

Your body responds to the stimulus you give it.

  • Apply resistance to muscles → muscles get stronger

  • Apply load and weight-bearing to bones → bones get stronger

  • Eat food your body can digest and use efficiently (quality and quantity) → organs function with less stress
